Dee Byrnes

After serving as a member of the US. Army, Dee began working for the Disney Company in 1976, performing in various operational retailing roles, before moving into the Human Resources division. In Human Resources she diagnosed, designed and delivered training for all levels of employees within the Theme Park areas. In 1989 Dee was asked to join the Euro Disney Opening Team as International Program Manager for Euro Disney where she designed, developed and implemented a successful exchange program for working students between Walt Disney World Co.  and Disneyland Paris.

In 1994 Dee transferred back the Walt Disney World Company and her sunset role was as a leader in the creation of the Walt Disney World Human Resources Organization Development department; Dee guided company business units through change management strategies. She served as an executive coach on leadership behaviors, innovation, change, empowerment, partnerships, interpersonal skills and Disney corporate values.

As Principal of the dee byrnes group Inc., Dee provides executive coaching, project management, session design and facilitation.  She consults with a broad range of industries, which have included resorts, retail, healthcare, higher education, and not for profit.

Dee is a certified Senior Professional in Human Resources, accredited by the Society for Human Resource Management and in addition to skills listed above she has also delivered presentations on leadership, organizational effectiveness, service, culture and change to audiences and organizations across the United States.
